Samia Walker, Founder & President
​
Samia Walker is an accomplished executive leader whose career reflects a deep commitment to economic mobility, organizational excellence, and community-centered development. She began her professional journey as a Domestic Violence Advocate with the New Bedford Police Department, shaping a leadership philosophy grounded in dignity, accountability, and resilience.
​
A graduate and later Executive Director of EforAll South Coast, Samia strengthened the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem through strategic partnerships, operational innovation, and high-touch support for founders navigating both growth and adversity. Her leadership has been recognized with awards, including the Christina Hamilton Award and the YWCA Woman of Distinction Award.

Building on more than two decades of cross-sector experience, Samia founded M.A.N.S.A. Consulting, where she now serves as President. She leverages her expertise in strategic planning, workforce pathways, nonprofit operations, and inclusive community engagement to support organizations in building stronger systems, effective processes, and long-term sustainability.
​
Samia also serves on the Board of Directors for BankFive, contributing governance leadership, community insight, and dedication to equitable economic advancement.
​
Born and raised in New Bedford—and now a wife, mother, and homeowner—Samia remains deeply invested in the long-term success of the South Coast. Her work reflects MANSA’s core values: service, collaboration, equity, and purpose-driven impact.

Peter Walker, Vice President of Strategy & Workforce Innovation
​
Peter Walker is a strategic leader with a proven record in workforce development, community engagement, and ecosystem building across the renewable energy, education, and nonprofit sectors. His leadership is anchored in equity, opportunity, and the belief that strong ecosystems unlock lasting impact.
​
At IWNL Energy, Peter leads regional and national initiatives to develop skilled and diverse talent pipelines for the offshore wind industry. As a specialist in the Energy Career Navigator©, he advises individuals, educational institutions, and employers on navigating career pathways and strengthening workforce infrastructure in one of the nation’s fastest-growing sectors.
​
Peter has completed the Offshore Wind Professional Certificate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, gaining advanced expertise in wind technology, supply chain management, project development and finance, environmental impact, logistics, policy, and business operations. He also completed Harvard Business School’s Outsmarting Implicit Bias certificate, enhancing his capacity to guide organizations in equitable leadership, strategic decision-making, and inclusive culture-building.

Peter’s professional and personal journey reflects transformation, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to community empowerment. Raised in inner-city Boston and later rooted in New Bedford, he turned early adversity into more than 20 years of service-focused leadership. His work includes a decade with 3rd EyE Youth Empowerment, founding The Communal Space New Bedford, leading the Art Is Everywhere initiative, and mentoring emerging leaders through nonviolent leadership and civic engagement.

At M.A.N.S.A. Consulting, Peter applies his expertise in workforce strategy, partnership development, project management, and ecosystem design to help organizations build capacity, strengthen their operations, and advance mission-driven outcomes.
