Climate Careers
Content Production
The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center has partnered with leading curriculum developers and experienced educators within the Commonwealth to develop a robust course curriculum for grades
9-12, titled Massachusetts Climate Careers: Powering the Future.
This first-of-its-kind curriculum provides students with an introduction to both the consequences of climate change and current solutions, then explores a variety of local careers in clean energy, including their critical role in supporting the transition to clean energy and other climate-related goals. The course’s lessons were developed with Massachusetts’ current learning standards in mind.
M.A.N.S.A. collaborated with cross-sector partners to shape the production, deployment, and strategic delivery of this initiative, partnering with Don Burton Media to produce the project’s videos and drawing on the instructional groundwork developed by IWNL for communities across Massachusetts.
This integrated approach enabled M.A.N.S.A. to support students, residents, and local stakeholders with adaptable tools that illuminated emerging opportunities in clean energy. Through a malleable and resourceful operating model, M.A.N.S.A. connected vital nodes from boardrooms where decisions were shaped to classrooms where future talent was inspired, ensuring that curriculum, storytelling, and workforce pathways worked in concert to strengthen the Commonwealth’s clean energy future.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
"Yesterday was absolutely phenomenal – thank you for the extra push. MANSA went above and beyond.
Thanks to your video and event production, it looks like we got $28,000 in pledges because of it—aside from the $15k match—epic day for YMCA Southcoast!!!"
" THANK YOU!!! I loved the way the panel discussion went and especially appreciated the way you wrapped gentrification into the conversation. I am so impressed with your work with WindWorks. That app is a game changer with potential for other industries in helping young people find a career path."
"As Black History Month is ending, I wanted to thank you for the great work you did last year for the Society with the “Did You Know” series and our Black History Trail. Our posts have been shared by people across the state (and around the country) about the great Black history we have here in NB.
Yesterday I gave a presentation to MA Development staff on the development of Abolition Row Park. They will be posting photos from the Abolition Row Park opening on their social media. MA Development supported the park with $180,000.
The Society will be sharing “Did You Know” on women over the next month. The Society got hit with state budget cuts as many MA nonprofits lost their earmark money this year. Due to your creative work on the website and social media we still have a great presence without having to provide lectures and programs that we just couldn’t afford this year."
